As I was preparing myself to write this article, many things were going through my mind as I see the struggles this recession is causing. Here in the USA I do not have the complete information concerning the amount of struggle that has been created in the family, but I am sure it is great. As I keep searching many stores and many sites, I see that the trend of products not made in America, have saturated the U.S. market. I was walking through one store, and I spotted a Carved bear holding a sign, maybe about 30� tall. A thought came to my mind, that this bear would look good in my little place up on the mountain; I figured they must have used pine wood which is a good wood for carving.

Believe me, they are not looking out for the people in those countries either; they pay minimum wages and do not give any benefits. Then they move the products to the USA, and the prices are not any higher or lower than the products made here. They may be lower just enough, to make us think we are getting a great deal. Take for example some of the Bar stools and Counter stools I have seen on the market, they appear to look good until you get closer, but the quality went down the toilet. What these corporations have done is to throw away the quality; they are trying to force these items on us, as if we do not have any other choices. Well � the answer to that is, that we do have other choices, and that is to support the companies that are still here in America.Like always my usual, �this is solely the opinion of the writer and as any article you may use this information as you wish, but the whole intention behind these articles is to help the consumer to make the right decision.�Ladies and gentlemen, I hope I have given some insight here. As I said in other articles, I am a firm believer that we the people can help our beautiful country come out of this recession.I see so many stools on the internet, and I know these products are not made here. These companies are very deceiving. You think you are getting a great deal so you go ahead and purchase these stools, but when they arrive at your home, what a disappointment. The finishing of the metal frame is not what you were expecting, the fabric you can tell is of poor quality, and the overall look is not professional. Consequently, you thought you were getting a great deal, but now you have to try sending it back to get your money back, and that is another ordeal which I am not going to touch on at this time.To my surprise I was able to pick up the bear and flip it upside down, it was made of plastic composite, it was very light weight, and the label on the bottom read Made in China. Please do not get me wrong, I do not have any problem with any nationality, I believe we all are sons and daughters of a loving Father in Heaven. I continued checking some of the other furniture in the store, sometimes embarrassing my wife by lying on the floor to see how this furniture was made, and where it came from. It is very sad to see many of the products in the USA market, are not made here in the good old USA. These corporations are not helping us by moving their factories and production plants out of the country? They are in fact creating more problems for us the citizens of this beautiful country.
